KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 10 (Bernama) -- Peace is not a luxury but a necessity that should be on the priority list, says Global Peace Ambassador Prem Rawat, who was recently inducted into The Brandlaureate Book of World Records for delivering 5,623 peace messages as of November 2023.
Prem Rawat, who was honoured at the BrandLaureate Brand of the Year Awards ceremony held here on Dec 6, spoke of the need to recognise the necessity of peace and its relevance globally.
"You know that peace is important and without peace this world is going to be a more miserable place than it is now," he said, underlining the need for countries to be doing the necessary towards peace.
"It is time for action and change", said Prem Rawat, adding that the education of peace should begin with each individual.
Prem Rawat, who was also awarded by BrandLaureate with an international lifetime achievement award in 2012, spoke of his efforts to bring the message of peace across the world.
Just late last month, he broke a Guinness World Record for delivering a lecture close to 400,000 people in a single sitting in the city of Gaya, India, his second Guinness world record of the year.
