99 Speedmart Christmas Rahmah Sales At 231 Branches In Sabah Starting Tomorrow - Kpdn

KOTA KINABALU, Dec 8 (Bernama) -- A total of 231 branches of 99 Speed Mart retail chain across Sabah will implement the Christmas Rahmah Sales starting tomorrow (Dec 9) until Jan 3 next year.

The Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN) Sabah, in a statement today, said that the Christmas Rahmah Sales offer 36 types of essential products and daily necessities for the people of the state.

"The items including rice, flour, beverages, detergent powder, 5-kilogramme cooking oil bottles, and 1-kilogramme Milo, are offered at prices up to 30 per cent lower than the existing selling prices.

"The Christmas Rahmah Sales can also help the less fortunate prepare for Christmas," the statement read.

Sabah KPDN director, Georgie Abas, launched the Christmas Rahmah Sales at 99 Speed Mart 1Borneo Hypermall here today.

According to Georgie, the Christmas Rahmah Sales offered by 99 Speed Mart is a reasonable and affordable offer for the entire population of Sabah.

"KPDN is committed to ensuring that the people of Sabah are protected and not burdened by the increasing cost of living during these challenging and uncertain times," he said.

The statement also mentioned that Sabah KPDN consistently supports efforts of industry players in the retail sector to encourage Malaysians to shop by providing additional rewards.

"Sabah KPDN would like to express its highest appreciation to 99 Speed Mart (East Malaysia) Sdn Bhd for this initiative to assist those in need in easing their cost of living in Sabah," the statement read.
