KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 6 (Bernama) -- QNET, a prominent lifestyle and wellness company, is among sponsors for the 13th edition of the 2023 Men's FIH Hockey Junior World Cup (JWC) which kicked off yesterday with the national team securing a win against Chile at the Bukit Jalil National Hockey Stadium.
QNET Chief Transformation And Reputation Officer Trevor Kuna said the company remains steadfast in its dedication to champion youth empowerment through sports as evidenced through its sponsorship of the prestigious tournament while praising the commendable sportsmanship displayed by the teams in the matches played yesterday.

Yesterday, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah also graced the occassion which saw the Young Tigers crush Chile 7-1 in rainy conditions.
A total of 16 teams, divided into four groups, are competing for the coveted Cup with Pool A comprising Malaysia, Argentina, Australia and Chile, while the teams in Pool B are Germany, France, South Africa and Egypt.
India head Group C with Spain, South Korea and Canada for company while Group D has Netherlands, Belgium, Pakistan and New Zealand.
Malaysians can take confidence as hosts of the event and will enjoy strong fan support as the national team is also scheduled to face defending champion Argentina today and Australia on Friday.
The top two teams in each group will advance to the quarter-finals.
