KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 27 (Bernama) -- Global credit rating agency, AM Best will participate in the 2023 International Insurance Society’s (IIS) Global Insurance Forum, from Nov 5 to 7 at Hilton Singapore Orchard, Singapore.
In a statement, AM Best said its managing director and chief executive officer of Singapore operations, Rob Curtis will have a one-on-one discussion on the subject of insurance regulation at the event titled, “Regulatory Priorities from a Rating Agency Perspective”.
The discussion will explore the evolving landscape in insurance regulation, the changing methodologies from credit rating agencies that may influence or complement regulation, new insurance capital standards and the evolution toward risk-based capital requirements.
Presented by the IIS and the Pacific Insurance Conference, the Global Insurance Forum is marking its return as an in-person event for the first time since 2019.
Key themes include the rise of Asian economies, capital market innovations for insurers, the impact of Artificial Intelligence, and how to manage an uncertain future.
AM Best is a bronze partner of the IIS, and its market development team for Asia Pacific will be attending the conference.
