KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 19 (Bernama) -- The Youth and Sports Ministry (KBS) announced the appointment of 11 new members to the Impact Integrated Board of Trustees (Impact).
Youth and Sports Minister Hannah Yeoh said the appointment of the 11 individuals had gone through a thorough screening and vetting process based on their vast experience and expertise in their respective sectors.
“Individuals appointed to the board can stimulate a positive impact in the development based on their experience and ability to serve as a catalyst for strategically pioneering the board which is under the ministry,” said Hannah in a statement issued by KBS.
She added that the appointment of a new board of trustees can drive the road map of Impact in managing programmes and initiatives that can provide professional and efficient services to the people and community, especially to youths.
The new board of trustees comprise AEON Big Managing Director Sheikh Farouk Sheikh Mohamed as the chairman; KBS Secretary-General Dr Nagulendran; Malaysia Youth Council (MBM) President Izzat Afifi; Bintang Capital Partners Chief Executive Officer Johan Rozali-Wathooth; Maybank Global Banking Director for Corporate Strategy, Leon Koay.
Global School Leaders (GSL) Director Samuel Isaiah; Earth Heir Founder Sasibai Kimis; Wiki Impact Founder Deborah Chan; J. Kuldeep Kumar & Co Senior Officer Athari Bahardin; EPIC Collective Chief Executive Officer John-Son Oei and Courtsite Chief Executive Officer Samuel Siew complete the list.
The newly appointed members will join Metamorfosa Sdn Bhd Managing Director Kudsia Kahar and Ministry of Finance Principal Assistant Secretary (Government Investment) Norhidayati Zakaria who are already sitting on the board.
Impact Integrated is an agency under the ministry with strategic diverse experiences and expertise but with an united mission to develop youth, Esports and media through Impact Malaysia, Rakita 107.9, Esports Integrated, Spacerubix, Picksum and mySukan TV.
