KOTA BHARU, Sept 29 (Bernama) -- A total of 772 individuals will be conferred state awards and medals in conjunction with the 54th birthday celebration of the Sultan of Kelantan, Sultan Muhammad V, tomorrow.
State secretary Datuk Nazran Muhammad said His Royal Highness will confer the awards at an investiture ceremony which will be held at Istana Balai Besar.
He said this in a press conference at the Sultan of Kelantan Office, Istana Balai Besar here today.
Also present were Comptroller of the Kelantan Royal Household Datuk Nik Mohd Shafriman Nik Hassan and Kelantan Palace ceremonial chief Major-General (Rtd) Datuk Mamat Ariffin Abdullah.
He said a total of 98 individuals will receive the awards and medals tomorrow, while the next session will be announced later. Six individuals will also be appointed as Jaksa Pendamai.
