KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 13 (Bernama) -- Malaysia’s largest agriculture trade exhibition, Agri Malaysia, will return this month with over 450 exhibiting booths and 500 brands with thousands of products, highlighting a massive 50 per cent increase from the previous edition.
In a statement today, Agri Malaysia said the event to be held at Setia City Convention Centre, Shah Alam from Sept 21 to 23 brings together local and international industry players to explore innovative solutions, exchange knowledge and foster collaborations.
Under the theme of ‘Agriculture Innovates Future’, Agri Malaysia 2023 aims to drive the growth and sustainability of the agriculture sector by highlighting cutting-edge technologies, modern farming methods and sustainable practices.
“Over 12,000 trade visitors from 23 countries are expected to attend during the three-day events,” it said.
The event offers four new elements comprising AgriDemo, which will feature precision farming demonstrations and technologies like drones and autonomous tractors in action, and AgriTalk, where innovative companies will present their ground-breaking solutions for pest control, soil health and more.
There also will be the AgriClinic, where visitors can consult with experts who perform examinations of soil quality and conduct assessments of leaf health, while Smart Farming Solutions will enable attendees to explore smart agriculture with demonstrations of AI-driven farm management systems.
“In an exciting development for the agricultural community, Agri Malaysia promises a wealth of opportunities for all stakeholders, regardless of their interests.
“This year’s event places a special focus on empowering durian farmers, palm oil plantation owners, and fruit and vegetable farm proprietors with the knowledge and tools to optimise their operations and share best practices,” the statement read.
