PETALING JAYA, June 7 (Bernama) -- The executive committee of the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) has decided to use a new logo for the Pestabola Merdeka tournament which will take place at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium from Oct 14 to 17.
FAM deputy president Datuk Mohd Yusoff Mahadi said the matter was decided at the eighth meeting of the FAM executive committee held at Wisma FAM yesterday.
He said the meeting also decided the ticket prices for the tournament.
"Tickets for children cost RM5 and RM40 for adults while RM60 for grandstand seats and RM80 for premium seats. We will also sell RM70 combo ticket for both matches from Aug 1 to 5 only," he told a press conference after the meeting here.
Last March, FAM president Datuk Hamidin Mohd Amin announced that after a ten-year lapse, Pestabola Merdeka is set to make a comeback with nations like India, Palestine, and Lebanon coming to challenge the national team.
