KUALA LUMPUR, May 5 (Bernama) -- Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM) will broadcast the 32 South East Asian (SEA) Games in Cambodia live beginning today till May 17 on the Okey and RTM Sports channels.
The Department of Broadcasting, Malaysia announced in a statement today that 43 live telecasts will be aired on Okey and RTM Sports channels, with an average of six hours in three sessions.
“The morning session will be a daily morning report from 10 am to noon, while for the afternoon session, a daily afternoon report from 2 pm till 5 pm, and at night, a daily roundup from 10 pm to 11 pm.
“RTM will also air 11 repeat broadcasts for daily roundup at 8.30 am to 9.30 am on the RTM Sports channel,” the department said.
RTM as the sole 32 SEA Games broadcaster, will also air the 2023 Cambodia SEA Games opening ceremony live on Okey, RTM Sports channels and will stream it live on RTMKlik, along with the closing ceremony on May 17.
A total of 17 RTM staff are now in Phom Penh to cover the Games for Malaysians, especially local fans.
