KUALA LUMPUR, March 30 (Bernama) -- The Malaysian Armed Forces Family Welfare Association (BAKAT ATM) will continue with its tradition of giving Hari Raya Bags to ATM members who are on duty at home and abroad on Aidilfitri.
The Malaysian Armed Forces Council, in a statement today, said that the Hari Raya Bags will be distributed to ATM members on duty at the border, as well as in operations, in the country and abroad.
According to the statement, BAKAT ATM has received various donations, in cash and kind, from corporate companies and individuals for the preparation of the Hari Raya Bag containing Hari Raya goodies.
It said the bags would be sent to ATM members on duty in appreciation of their sacrifice and service in safeguarding the country’s sovereignty and well-being of the people.
BAKAT ATM members gathered at Dewan Seroja, Kementah Camp, here yesterday to pack the Hari Raya Bags with goodies. The event was graced by its chairman Tengku Puteri Seri Teja of Pahang Tengku Muhaini Sultan Ahmad Shah.
