KUALA NERUS, Feb 7 (Bernama) -- Terengganu FC (TFC) head coach Tomislav Steinbruckner has a clear indication of his first 11 line up for the new M-League season but would rather keep his squad under wraps until the end of the pre-season playing tour.
The Croatian said he was still assessing the performance of the players and would use the pre-season tour to Thailand, involving four friendly matches, as his final platform to decide.
According to Steinbruckner he is still on the look out for a central striker who can make an impact upfront.
"I already have my first eleven squad in my mind, but I think we will wait until pre-season in Thailand for last decision. We are also looking for an offensive midfielder who can create something for our strikers who can score as well.
“But obviously it is not easy to find that kind of player especially among the local," he said when met at the Gong Badak Sports Complex where the TFC team was training.
Steinbruckner said during the pre-season tour to Thailand from Feb 8 to 13, TFC will be playing four matches, including one against Danish league outfit Odense Boldklub FC.
Apart from Odense Boldklub FC, TFC will lay against Thailand clubs Rajpracha FC, Bangkok FC and Chonburi FC.
