PORT DICKSON, Jan 1 (Bernama) — Lexis Hotel Group attracted more than 1,000 guests at its New Year’s Eve countdown party held at Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson, which was held for the first time post-pandemic.
Lexis Hotel Group president Mandy Chew Siok Cheng said after a two-year hiatus from its annual New Year's Eve countdown party, the hotel hosted its biggest party of the year as guests bade farewell to 2022 and welcomed 2023 at the resort's beach.
“Our beach carnival-themed New Year's Eve multi-sensory celebration extravaganza allows our quests to usher the New Year with fun and frivolity with their loved ones as they embark on a gastronomic adventure.
“They also experience an unforgettable countdown with exciting activities including fun carnival games, a petting zoo, cinema under the stars, live music and entertainment as well as a spectacular fireworks spectacle at the stroke of midnight,” she said in a statement today.
Guests spent an evening under the stars relaxing, unwinding, and disconnecting at the resort’s inaugural outdoor cinema with attendees enjoying a screening of local film favourite, Ola Bola, on a clear, starry night sky.
