KUANTAN, Nov 20 (Bernama) -- Pahang Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail has retained the Jelai state seat for the fifth term in the 15th general election (GE15).
Based on results announced by the Election Commission (EC), the Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate obtained 10,092 votes to win the seat with a 6,983-vote majority against Perikatan Nasional’s (PN) Dr Abdul Rasid Mohamed, who received 3,109 votes.
Ismail Mohd Hussin of Pakatan Harapan lost his deposit after only managing 1,464 votes.
In GE14, Wan Rosdy won the seat with a 3,507 majority in a four-cornered fight.
