Bank Rakyat introduces Investment-i Account RIZQ Plus

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 9 (Bernama) -- Bank Rakyat has unveiled its first investment product, the Investment-i Account RIZQ Plus which is opened to Malaysians and non-Malaysian citizens with shariah compliant and no maximum investment limit.

The largest cooperative Islamic bank in Malaysia with total assets of RM115.06 billion as of December 2021, assists Malaysian families in expanding fund savings in times of distress to ensure a better quality of life in the long term through this investment scheme.

Bank Rakyat vice-president of deposit Noor Azilla Nasarudin said the bank had launched the investment product on July 15 and aimed to provide new investment opportunities with a minimum deposit as low as RM100.

“This product is offered to customers that wish to maximise profit through investment in the retail financing asset portfolio by focusing on  Personal-i Financing portfolio and high-quality liquid assets,” she said at the forum to introduce Investment-i Account RIZQ Plus at Bank Rakyat twin tower here today. 

Noor Azilla also said the product based on the Mudarabah concept, has no maximum or minimum period  and customers can withdraw or increase total investment at any time.

At the same forum, Bank Rakyat investment account management manager Zainol Osman said depositors also had the chance to win various attractive prizes.

“Cash amounting to RM1 million through the lucky draw programme for the monthly and half-yearly draw categories will be held," he said.
