PUTRAJAYA, Sept 8 (Bernama) -- The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) through the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Academy is developing an accredited study programme, namely Certificate In Basic Law Enforcement, which will be offered to all enforcement agencies.

MACC chief commissioner Tan Sri Azam Baki said the study programme with a total of 60 credit hours or equivalent to 2,400 learning hours was a basic training for newly appointed officers to identify corruption activities and preventive measures.

"It includes face-to-face and online learning for three months at the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Academy," he said at the MACC Law Enforcement Accredited Programme 2022 convocation here today.

The convocation ceremony was the first to be held in collaboration with the United Kingdom’s Nottingham Trent University (NTU) United involving 266 graduates who are MACC officers of various positions.
