Labuan FSA enhances its Registrar of Company’s digital platform

LABUAN, Sept 5 (Bernama) -- In line with the continued drive towards digitalisation, Labuan Financial Services Authority (Labuan FSA) has enhanced its registrar’s digital portal “Real Time Search of Company Status” or REEFS, to facilitate Labuan trust companies and the public.

In a statement to Bernama today, it said the measures include to perform search for trusts and partnerships through the REEFS real time platform and to perform search for those Labuan entities which had been struck off. 

Labuan FSA recognises that time is of the essence in matters pertaining to financial activities as well as in other business, contractual and enforcement matters. 

It further said the enhancement of REEFS provides a more efficient channel for the public to have access to the database of companies registered in Labuan IBFC by streamlining the records and database in REEFS with the COR@L Registry system of Labuan FSA in real time. 

“This provides an easier and quicker search services to all its registry users and would benefit the public from the instant response and up-to-date record checking,” according to the statement.

Labuan FSA encourages the public and all our registry users to take advantage of the REEFS which can be accessed either via Labuan FSA’s website at www.labuanfsa.gov.my or via the COR@L system at www.lfsacoral.gov.my/reefs. 

To obtain the desired search result, the EXACT company name or its registration number would need to be entered.
