SINGAPORE, Aug 29 (Bernama) -- Apart from saving the environment, Malaysian technology-based recycling company JANZ Technologies Sdn Bhd via its flagship brand KLEAN is helping the B40 group by enabling assistance through its reward points.
“They can now recycle, help save the environment and receive reward points which they can exchange for discounts on goods and services,” KLEAN’s chief executive officer Datuk Dr Nick Boden said in a statement to Bernama today.
Dr Boden said KLEAN is continuously working towards increasing the portfolio of rewards for the users on its platform that could be used to help them in these trying times.
“Some of the reward partners currently on the KLEAN platform include Grab, Lotus’s and Village Grocer,” said Dr Boden.
JANZ Technologies owns KLEAN, an innovative and sustainable solution to the plastic waste problem.
The company manufactures and operates a series of artificial intelligence-powered smart reverse vending machines that is powered by its own homegrown operating system and linked to an app.
The machines collect plastic water bottles and aluminium cans in exchange for rewards points that are redeemable for goods and services.
KLEAN currently has 40 machines located in high footfall areas in the Klang Valley, Genting and Penang.
According to JANZ Technologies, KLEAN had also recently formed a partnership with Adwork, a media advertising marketplace, to promote sustainable advertising that is tailored exclusively towards meeting the requirements of environmental, social and governance (ESG).
It said the partnership aspires to open up opportunities for companies, especially small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs), and those looking to meet their ESG requirements.
Under the arrangement, Adwork’s clients who are seeking for sustainable initiatives that cater towards ESG will now be able to place advertisements across all KLEAN Reverse Vending Machines in Malaysia from static-based to digital advertisements.
“We provide opportunities for advertisers to either take up ad space on our digital screens or static ads.
“Alternatively for greater impact, clients can choose to lease the reverse vending machines for a fixed duration and determine the advertising on the entire machine. DHL group is currently one of our largest leasing partners in this space,” added Dr Boden.
Adwork provides an advertising marketplace platform from which businesses around the world can place advertisements across a number of advertising channels in Malaysia and Singapore.
Packages and rates have been designed to make this affordable so as to enable a variety of companies and SMEs to advertise on the platform.
For inquiries on advertising packages on Adwork, SMEs may visit www.adwork.io or wecare@adwork.io and for details on leasing the reverse vending machines at www.klean.asia or drboden@klean.my.
“We all need to play a role towards saving the planet and eliminating global warming. Advertising has never been easier and to be able to spend ad-dollars and at the same time contribute to saving the environment is a unique proposition,” Adwork chief executive officer Kumaresh Visvanathan said.
