He said the film that revolves around football, played by various races, carries the message that every individual must strive to fight without giving up if they want to taste success.

"I would like to congratulate the cast and crew of Anak Rimau for their extraordinary effort in showcasing one of the factors that unite us and have lifted our spirits in this country, which is football.

"Our mission at the Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS) is to form a more prosperous and united Malaysia through youth development and sports culture, and the story of ‘Anak Rimau The Movie’ is a perfect example of what we aim for in this country," he told reporters after an exclusive screening of the movie.

The film was produced through the joint venture of the National Sports Council (MSN), the National Football Development Programme (NFDP), Mokhtar Dahari Academy (AMD) and KBS.

The film produced by Keeklr Films Sdn Bhd features a line-up of famous actors, Beto Kusyairy, Azhan Rani and Adam Corrie, where the film highlights the spirit and struggle of the new generation in pursuing their dreams as football players.
