KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 17 (Bernama) -- After helping the national men's compound trio win gold, experienced archer Mohd Juwaidi Mazuki added another medal by clinching bronze in the mixed team compound event at the 2021 Islamic Solidarity Games in Konya, Turkiye.
Mohd Juwaidi who partnered with Nur Aina Yasmine Halim, won 153-152 over Indonesian pair Hendika Pratama Putra-Ratih Zilizati Fadhly.
The home pair of Yesim Bostan Ucar-Haney Emircan won the gold by beating Iran’s Amir Kazempour-Geesa Bybordy, 156-149.
Earlier today, Mohd Juwaidi teamed up with Eugene Loh and Alang Ariff Aqil Muhammad Ghazalli defeated Indonesia’s Deki Adika Hastian, Hendika Pratama Putra and Prima Wisnu Wardhana, 229-228, to win gold in the men's team compound event.
The fifth edition of the sporting event which officially began on Aug 9, is scheduled to end tomorrow (Aug 18).
