KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 17 (Bernama) -- MK Land Holdings Bhd’s shares on Bursa Malaysia went up in the early session today after being granted an extension from the Energy Commission (EC) in relation to the development of a 10.95 megawatt large scale photovoltaic plant in Kerian, Perak.

At 10.07 am, the counter rose 1.0 sen to 15.5 sen with 2.08 million shares changing hands.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia on Tuesday, MK Land said the extension, received through its wholly owned subsidiary Solar Citra Sdn Bhd (SCSB), is from Dec 30, 2022 to Dec 31, 2023.

“It also extended by four years the power purchase agreement with a total period of 25 years. Related agreements and warranties would be extended in line with this latest development,” it said.
