MELAKA, July 20 (Bernama) -- The Multimedia University (MMU) will continue to offer the special fee rate for its foundation programmes as well as admission fee waiver for new enrollment for the July 2022 intake.
MMU president Prof Datuk Dr Mazliham Mohd Su’ud said the move was to ease the financial burden of parents and to ensure that all eligible prospective students were able to further their studies at MMU.
He said the tuition fee for all foundation programmes (except for the Foundation in Law) offered at MMU is maintained at only RM6,000 per student, while those who are interested to pursue Diploma programmes are eligible to get the admission fee waiver.
“Financial issues remain a major concern of students and parents at the moment. Therefore MMU has taken this initiative to maintain the special fee rate which was introduced in 2021 despite the country has entered the transition to endemic phase,” he said in a statement here today.
He also said that the initiative reflects the university’s commitment to equip future digital talents with knowledge and relevant skills through its cutting-edge programmes and syllabuses.
Prospective students and parents are welcome to attend the MMU Open Day which will be held on July 23 to 24 at the university’s Melaka Campus.
