ISTANBUL, July 20 (Bernama) -- The UK's annual inflation rate in June was 9.4 per cent, its highest level in 40 years reported Anadolu.
The country's statistical office said the annual inflation was at the highest level since February 1982 according to indicative modelled consumer price inflation estimates.
The rate was 9.1 per cent in May on a monthly basis, while prices also rose 0.8 per cent in June.
"Rising prices for motor fuels and food made the largest upward contributions to the change," it said.
