KOTA BHARU, July 2 (Bernama) -- Some 50,000 visitors are expected to be at the Malaysian Family Aspirations Tour (JAKM) programme to be held from July 22 to 24 at Sultan Muhammad IV Stadium here, said Communications and Multimedia Minister Tan Sri Annuar Musa.
Annuar, who is also the state JAKM coordinator, said he was optimistic that the target would be achieved because a host of activities and interesting events have been lined up to ensure the number of visitors surpasses that of other states.
"We intend to make the JAKM in Kelantan a programme that provides opportunities to people such as entrepreneurs, creative industry players, youths and teenagers.
"Indeed, our main focus is to highlight all public services available for the people as it is Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob’s wish to get the public to know more about what the government is doing," he told reporters after a briefing on JAKM Kelantan at Sultan Muhammad IV Stadium here today.
Elaborating, he said the Ulama Nusantara discourse which will feature popular religious scholars from Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand as well as International Muay Thai performances are among the programmes to be held.
