eBen Assist inks MoU with Collinson Assistance

KUALA LUMPUR, March 24 (Bernama) -- eBen Assist Sdn Bhd (eBen Assist) has inked a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Collinson Assistance (Collinson) of the United Kingdom which will see the company’s current service offerings broadened in the Malaysian market.

In a statement today, eBen Assist said the collaboration has enabled the company to deliver International Travel Risk Management (TRM) services based on Collinson's global contact points, enabling enterprises to effectively assess, mitigate and manage risks posed by global hazards such as a pandemic or a security situation.

“This provides organisations with comprehensive travel protection and support, no matter where their workforce may be located.

“Insurance, medical and security assistance for international travel is a vital part of one's business travel or vacation planning.

“In light of the current COVID-19 pandemic, the pandemic has accelerated the need to build and maintain a safe and sustainable platform for the workforce of any organisation.

“As businesses increase their obligations and responsibilities to offer proper protection and care for their employees, the demand for more comprehensive risk and protection policies for business travel is growing,” it said.

In the statement, eBen Assist also said that the agreement would undoubtedly open up new commercial opportunities for the technology company which specialises in Medical Claims Administration, particularly with foreign insurance firms and organisations in Malaysia.

Its chairman and advisor, Mahathir Mahzan said the company was delighted to have discovered an exceptionally skilled service provider in the areas of expertise that would complement and strengthen its current service offering.

“We intend that this collaboration will grow our business exponentially going forward,” he added.

Meanwhile, eBen Assist chief sales officer, Thomas Ng said: “This collaboration will provide a more comprehensive solution that suits our targeted markets within Malaysia.

“Our clients will now have an end-to-end medical administration service that ranges from domestic medical management to international travel medical services.”
