RICHWORKS ENTREPRENEURS RECORD RM3.7 BILLION IN SALES DURING PANDEMIC

KUALA LUMPUR, March 8 -- A total of 1,885 entrepreneurs under the guidance of RichWorks International Sdn Bhd (RichWorks) managed to record accumulated sales of RM3.7 billion in 2021.

RichWorks chief business officer Radz Mohd said of that amount, RM3.21 billion was contributed by entrepreneurs through the Titanium programme, while entrepreneurs under the Spire and Elite-X programmes generated accumulated sales of RM495 million and RM46.9 million respectively.

“Entrepreneurs under the Titanium intensive mentoring programme managed to record a 41 per cent increase in sales to RM2.27 billion in 2020 from RM901 million in 2019.

“All the sales recorded under the Titanium programe in 2021 were generated by 312 entrepreneurs involving 268 businesses.

“Of that number, 85 per cent or 227 Titanium businesses recorded an increase in sales compared to the previous year,” he said at the RichWorks Titanium Gala Awards ceremony at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre last night.

The event was held to honour the extraordinary achievements of entrepreneurs who had successfully overcome COVID-19 challenges under the guidance of RichWorks.

Marketing expert and entrepreneur mentor Datuk Dr Azizan Osman said the achievement of the Titanium entrepreneurs proved that the pandemic that hit the country was not a hindrance to success.

The event also saw the launch of a book titled ‘Bangkit Bisnes Dari Krisis’ which provides an analysis on businesses that managed to overcome challenges following the COVID-19 pandemic.

Meanwhile, Eskayvie Sdn Bhd founder and managing director Kartika Wati Mohamed who was named the recipient of the Titanium Grandeur Award, said the intensive guidance and mentoring offered through the programme had helped her company to generate RM96.7 million in revenue last year.

“In the early days of the Covid-19 pandemic I felt lost, not knowing what to do, but thanks to Datuk Dr Azizan’s commitment and wisdom. He helped us on what to do to maintain the business.

“Alhamdulillah, thanks for his guidance throughout 2020. When everyone was unsure what to do, we managed to find the right direction that has contributed to our sucess,” she said.
