KUALA LUMPUR, March 7 -- Terengganu Polygon Cyclıng Team rider Anatolli Budiak powered his way to victory in the Mediterranean Grand Prix (GP) in Turkey yesterday.
The Ukraine-born rider finished the 98-kilometre (km) race from Okurcalar to Gundogmus in two hours 38 minutes and five seconds to beat second-placed Kazakhstan's Daniil Marukhin (2:38:18s) of Almaty Cycling Team by 13 seconds. Turkey's Mustafa Sayar (2:38: 31s) of BB Pro Team was third.

“Today was a tough race and luck was on our side. Thank you very much, everyone,” he said in a statement today.
