AMMAN, Feb 9 -- Italy and Spain on Tuesday suspended the mandatory of wearing masks in open air, while maintaining its use in crowded places, Jordan news agency (Petra) reported.
Italy's Health Minister, Roberto Speranza, signed a decree to halt the mandatory wearing of masks in the open, stressing that it must be used in gatherings, while the decision to wear it in closed places is still in effect until the end of March, ANSA news agency reported.
In Spain, the decision to wear masks in open places will be canceled as of Thursday, Petra reported EFE news agency said, cited Health Ministry spokeswoman, Isabel Rodriguez, as saying in a press conference.
