EDGEPOINT HOLDCO PTE LTD, a telecommunications infrastructure company, has appointed Daragh O’Neill as its chief financial officer.
O’Neill said the telecommunication field in Southeast Asia is an exciting place to be where the 4G and 5G rollout promises sweeping changes in the landscape.

MALAYSIA PRODUCTIVITY CORPORATION (MPC) has recorded cost savings of up to 93 per cent in payment transaction charges per year through the implementation of government business payments/transactions via the electronic fund transfer (EFT) system.
In a statement today, MPC director-general Datuk Abdul Latif Abu Seman said the implementation is in line with Bank Negara Malaysia’s (BNM) initiative of improving economics’ efficiency by transforming the payment landscape in Malaysia.
“In line with BNM’s notification to increase cheque processing charges on Jan 1, 2021, MPC has stepped in to register and study the implementation of EFT at our headquarters and regional offices nationwide.
“As a result of these changes, MPC’s Finance Unit recorded savings of 93 per cent or the equivalent of RM10,624 for the entire payment transaction charges a year,” he said.

TH PROPERTIES SDN BHD received an overwhelming response to its latest residential project in Bandar Enstek, Negeri Sembilan, with 60 per cent of Pristine 3 sold out within a week of its launch.
In a statement today, group chief executive officer Azman Ibrahim said the positive response showed by homebuyers towards Pristine 3 is a reflection of trust and recognition of the TH Properties brand name.
“Similar to the good market response for Pristine 3, Pristine Phase 1 and Phase 2, which were launched in October 2017 and July 2018, respectively, also received overwhelming demand and were fully sold out.
“Since its launch last week, 60 per cent of Pristine 3 have been taken up and we expect the positive interest from homebuyers to persistently grow,” he said.
