KANGAR, Jan 20  -- Perlis United Football Club (PUFC) will face their first serious test before the start of third-tier M3 League of the Malaysia League (M-League) when they take on Penang's Bukit Tambun FC (BTFC) in a friendly at the Tuanku Syed Putra Stadium here on Saturday (Jan 22).

PUFC coach Azizul Abidin, who is fondly called 'Cikgu Jon’ by his players, said the friendly was crucial for him to gauge his team's capabilities ahead of their opening M3 match against Tok Janggut Warriors FC (TJWFC) next month.

He said that he would only finalise his list of main players and the team's captain for the M3 League after Saturday's friendly.
