SEREMBAN, Dec 23 -- Husain Maarof, the father of Deputy Inspector-General of Police Razarudin Husain, passed away at 1.45 pm today from old age.
Razarudin’s elder brother, Abd Razak Husain said the 91-year-old breathed his last at his home in Kampung Parit Seberang, Tanjung Ipoh, Kuala Pilah.
According to him, the prayer for the deceased would be held at the latter’s home and he would be laid to rest at the Kampung Parit Seberang Muslim burial ground after Maghrib prayer.
The late Husain leaves a wife, Rahmah Abdul Rahman, 84, four sons and a daughter.
