ETIQA will remove the requirement to submit a police report for motor special peril claims for all flood incidents starting December 18, effective immediately until further notice.

The insurance and takaful provider said this is to facilitate the claims process for vehicle owners affected by the floods in the Klang Valley and other states.

“Customers only need to send a photo of the scene showing the vehicle affected by flood and ensure the registration number is clearly visible,” it said in a statement today.
