Bookdoc and partners raise RM10,000 for MRCS in virtual charity run

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 17 -- BookDoc, a homegrown online healthcare platform, together with Miss Universe Malaysia Organisation (MUMO), Affin Bank and the Malaysia Red Crescent Society (MRCS) have successfully raised RM10,000 for MRCS through a virtual charity run held last month.

The virtual charity run, held from Oct 25 to Nov 30, received an encouraging response from 15,883 participants.

The event was concluded today with MRCS Virtual and Charity Run Cheque-Giving Ceremony at Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Lab with the presence of MRCS National Chairperson Tan Sri Tunku Puteri Intan Safinaz Tuanku Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah, Deputy Health Minister Datuk Dr Noor Azmi Ghazali and BookDoc Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Datuk Chevy Beh.

In a statement today, BookDoc said it has taken the liberty to encourage an active lifestyle, especially during this pandemic by organising this event and providing rewards from its attractive partners in staying active to achieve daily step goals.
