1,390 FAMILIES RECEIVE FOOD BASKETS THROUGH PLUS' ‘BERSAMA AMBIL PEDULI’ CAMPAIGN

KUALA LUMPUR -- A total of 5,560 individuals from 1,390 families living along the fence line of PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) and East Coast Expressway 2 (LPT2) highways have received food baskets as part of PLUS's ‘Bersama Ambil Peduli’ campaign during the National Month.

In a statement today, PLUS Managing Director Datuk Azman Ismail said PLUS has data of families below the poverty line along its highway fence line, this after its employees established a team of 313 personnel known as the Skuad Ambil Peduli (We Care Squad) to reach out and deliver the food baskets to those families.

He said what made its ‘Bersama Ambil Peduli’ campaign more meaningful was that the financial contributions came mostly from its 3,800 strong Warga PLUS workforce.
