ALOR SETAR, Aug 29  -- Kedah Darul Aman Football Club (KDA FC) have ended the contract of striker Rozaimi Abdul Rahman, 28, by mutual consent after eight months of service.

KDA FC, in a statement today, said the early termination of the contract was agreed upon after the end of the two-month period given to Rozaimi to sort out some personal matters before deciding on the direction of his football career.

"The club management respects his stand although his services and experience as a striker are still needed. Thank you and we wish you all the best in your football career in the future,” the statement said.

Rozaimi had signed up with KDA FC for one season after four years of playing with Johor Darul Ta'zim II FC.

He had made nine appearances for KDA FC, with the last being during their match against Melaka United FC on April 30, which KDA FC won.
