DNeX's subsidiary bags RM88 mln ICT contract from MoF

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug -- Dagang NeXchange Bhd’s (DNeX) indirect subsidiary, Innovation Associates Consulting Sdn Bhd (iAC), has bagged an information and communication technology (ICT) contract from the Ministry of Finance (MoF) worth RM88 million for a duration of 45 months.

iAC is 60 per cent held via Genaxis Group Sdn Bhd, which in turn is 51 per cent held by Dagang Net Technologies Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of DNeX.

In a statement today, DNeX said under the contract, iAC would be responsible for the maintenance, support services and application improvement of the Integrated Government Financial and Management System (iGFMAS).

Group managing director Tan Sri Syed Zainal Abidin Syed Mohamed Tahir said as a digital solutions provider, DNeX continuously seek opportunities to help customers, either in the public or private sector, enhance operational efficiency and increase their customer experience by strengthening their digital reach.

“We will be with customers in their digital transformation journey to provide the biggest impact for their operations and business,” he said.

Meanwhile, in a filing with Bursa Malaysia, it said the 45 months contract shall be commencing from August 10, 2021 until May 9, 2025.

It said the contract is expected to contribute positively to the earnings per share of the company for the financial year ending June 30, 2022.

Backed by more than 200 experienced consultants, iAC has completed more than 100 projects in the public and private sectors.
