RTM lines up interesting programmes for Aidiladha

KUALA LUMPUR, July 13  -- Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM) will air several programmes including telemovies and documentaries, in conjunction with the Aidiladha celebrations from July 17 to 22.

In a statement today, RTM said that two telemovies will be screened on TV1 on July 17, namely 'Tabung Haji Atuk'  at 3 pm and 'Rindu Tanpa Batas' at 10 pm.

On the eve of the Aidiladha celebration on July 19, two programmes will be aired, namely ‘Salam Baitullah Edisi Wukuf’ (6 pm) on TV1 and telemovie ‘Sebelum Pulang’ (9 pm) on TV2.

On July 20, viewers will be treated to seven special programmes, including telemovie ‘Sejadah Dari Mekah’ at 8 am on TV2,  documentary ‘Menanti Panggilan Suci’ (9.30 am on TV1) and telemovie ‘Kugenggam Kunci Syurga’ (10 am on TV1).

Also to be aired on the same day is the documentary ‘Pejuang Di Perjalanan Akhir’ on TV1 at 12.30 pm, and the show will be repeated on TV Okey at 5.30 pm on July 22.

Another documentary titled ‘Masjid Al-Ghazali’ will be aired on July 20 at 1.30 pm on TV1 and the following day at 9 pm on TV Okey.

RTM will also air the telemovie ‘Fitrah’ on TV2 at 9 pm on July 20, and the documentary ‘Menanti Panggilan Haji’ on the same day at 9 pm on TV Okey.

A special Aidiladha telemovie, ‘Begitu Janji Tertulis' will air on TV 2 at 9 pm on July 21

"Despite a low-key celebration given the Covid-19 pandemic, RTM still hopes that all viewers and loyal listeners of its channels always remain cheerful and celebrate Aidiladha with their loved ones," read the statement.

Muslims in Malaysia will celebrate Aidiladha on July 20.
