KUALA LUMPUR, July 12 -- The Islamic Banking and Finance Institute Malaysia (IBFIM), in collaboration with the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL), will be hosting the Sustainability Leadership Programme for Financial Institutions on July 14 and July 15, 2021.
It said the programme would be conducted over three cohorts with the first cohort would be attended by 32 delegates from 17 Islamic banks comprising board members, chief executive officers (CEOs) and senior management officers.
“The Programme is organised in support of the commitment by the Value-based Intermediation (VBI) Community of Practitioners (COP) and Association of Islamic Banking and Financial Institutions Malaysia (AIBIM),” IBFIM said In a statement today.
CEO Yusry Yusoff said the programme, which is exclusively developed by CISL for the Islamic financial industry, would spur the adoption of VBI and strengthen the industry’s role in advancing a sustainable future.
“We are also pleased to have the support and commitment from the VBI-COP members during the programme development stage,” he said.
