ALOR GAJAH, July 9 -- Serba Dinamik has partnered with Mosyawa Sdn Bhd for the mySURFI programme which will provide satellite Internet access to residents of Paya Lebar in Masjid Tanah, but more importantly students and teachers.

Serba Dinamik deputy president, Muhamad Nurazmi Abas, said it was a first-of-its-kind corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme.

“We chose Paya Lebar because Internet access was a problem, especially for the teachers and students doing online teaching and learning (PdPR),” he told reporters after demonstrating the advantages of high-speed Internet via satellite at an event today.

Masjid Tanah member of Parliament (MP), Datuk Mas Ermieyati Samsudin, who was also present, said mySURFI will benefit almost 2,000 residents from two areas of Paya Lebar and will later be expanded to eight other villages.

The Entrepreneur and Cooperative Development deputy minister also said that that programme will reduce the financial burden on parents.
