Monsta launches four new Boboiboy superhero figures

KUALA LUMPUR, May 18 -- Monsta, an intellectual property and character company has produced four new BoBoiBoy superhero action figures under its own brand, called FGURA ™, in conjunction with the 10th anniversary celebration of the popular animated series this year.

Animosta Studios Sdn Bhd’s head of Brand and International Sales Faiz Zainal Aabidin said two of the four figures namely FGURA ™ BoBoiBoy and BoBoiBoy Blaze are now available at selected 7-Eleven outlets at a special rate of RM45 each, compared to the normal price of RM49 per unit.

He said the other two figures, namely FGURA ™ BoBoiBoy Ice and BoBoiBoy FrostFire can be purchased beginning July.

“For those who prefer to shop online, Monsta Store Shopee is offering an exclusive limited edition of BoBoiBoy Galaxy Card FGURA ™ for free with every purchase of Combo Set which priced at RM98,” he said in a statement today.

Faiz said the new products were launched following the success of the blockbuster film ‘BoBoiBoy Movie 2’ in 2019 which saw an increase in the demand for various items and toys of the animated series both locally and abroad. 

He said Monsta had spent more than a year for the research and toy design process to produce quality superhero figures at an affordable price.

BoBoiBoy has enjoyed immense success in the Asian region, with over six billion views on YouTube to date.

Apart from BoBoiBoy, Monsta which has over a decade of experience in producing feature films, television series, merchandise and other intellectual property-related products, is also known by its popular animated franchise such as Papa Pipi and Fly With Yaya.
