KUALA LUMPUR, April 6 -- Kejuruteraan Asastera Bhd (KAB), an electrical and mechanical engineering services provider, has received two letters of appointment (LOAs) from China Construction Yangtze River (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (CCYRM) with a total contract value of RM17.9 million.
Under the LOAs, KAB has been appointed the nominated sub-contractor for electrical installation works, which include supplying, delivering, installing, testing and commissioning of electrical services for the three blocks of mixed development by Multibay Development Sdn Bhd at Jalan Tun Razak, Kuala Lumpur.
Managing director Datuk Lai Keng Onn said the addition of these contracts serves as KAB’s legacy to continue rendering outstanding services to its customers and both packages are expected to be completed by Oct 31, 2023.
“Our total outstanding order book of about RM390 million as at March 15, 2021 will provide healthy earnings visibility for the next few years while we execute and deliver our ongoing projects,” he said in a statement.
He also said that the company would continue to participate in tenders to further boost its order book and is confident that its financial performances will remain strong in the coming years.
