JOHOR BAHRU, March 25 -- The Sultan of Johor, Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar, conferred the honorific form of address of the wife of Tunku Mahkota of Johor as Her Highness Che’ Puan Besar Khaleeda Bustamam.
Johor Council of Royal Court president Datuk Dr Abdul Rahim Ramli said the conferment was with immediate effect.
“By Royal Command of His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar, Sultan and Sovereign Ruler of the State and Territory of Johor Darul Ta'zim, the Johor Council of the Royal Court is pleased to announce with immediate effect the honorific form of address of Her Highness Che’ Puan Khaleeda the Consort of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince of Johor is Her Highness Che’ Puan Besar Khaleeda Bustamam," he said in a statement uploaded on the official Facebook page of Sultan Ibrahim today.
Tunku Mahkota of Johor Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim and Che' Puan Besar Khaleeda tied the knot on Oct 24, 2014. The royal couple is blessed with two sons and a daughter.
