KUALA LUMPUR, March 11 -- The inaugural Netball Super League 2021 (NSL) championship, scheduled from March 19 to April 11, will see eight women teams eyeing for the league title.

Today’s group draw results saw Perak Phoenix (A1), Melaka Mystic (A2), Kedah Sunshine (A4) and KL Wildcats (A3) making up Group A while Group B comprised Johor Jewel  (B1), Pahang Tulips (B2), Negeri Sembilan Venom (B3) and Selangor Angels (B4).

The top two teams of each group will qualify for the semi-finals, where group A champion will meet the group B runner-up while group B champion will face group A runner-up, to book their slots in the final.

The NSL 2021 matches would be aired live every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, beginning at 5 pm from March 19 to April 11 over Astro Arena 802HD and on the digital platform.

Meanwhile, Malaysia Netball Association president Alwiyah Talib, when met at the draw, said she was confident that the NSL 2021 championship would be a boost for more initiatives and competitions involving netball in the future.

Through the championship, Alwiyah hoped that netball will be the sports of choice among women in the country and the world.
