Public Mutual declares RM61 million distribution for 10 funds

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 29 -- Public Bank’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Public Mutual has declared a distribution of more than RM61 million to 10 funds for the year ended Jan 31, 2021.

It said a gross distribution of 4.25 sen per unit has been declared for Public Enhanced Bond Fund, 1.8 sen per unit for Public Money Market Fund and 1.0 sen per unit each for Public Index Fund and PB Asia Consumer Sector Fund, respectively.

The distribution also involved Public Emerging Opportunities Fund, Public Islamic Emerging Opportunities Fund and PB Dividend Builder Equity Fund, of 0.6 sen per unit each and Public India-Global Equity Fund, Public Islamic Optimal Growth Fund and Public Islamic Global Balanced Fund, of 0.5 sen per unit each.

Public Mutual is Malaysia’s largest private unit trust company with more than 160 funds under its management. As at end-December 2020, the fund size managed by the company was RM100.3 billion.
