KOTA KINABALU, Oct 15 -- The Inland Revenue Board’s (IRB) Kota Kinabalu and Sandakan branches resumed operations today but with limited services and operating hours.
IRB in a statement today said local counter services at the two branches are open from Monday to Friday, between 8 am and 4 pm during the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) period.
It said stamp duty counters and payment centres at the Kota Kinabalu branch would be operational from Monday to Friday, starting from 8 am to 1 pm.
However, stamp duty counters at the Sandakan branch are still not operational, the statement added.
“Customers are advised to adhere to the standard operating procedures set by the National Security Council (MKN) while they are at the IRB premises to curb the spread of COVID-19,” it said.
IRB also encouraged the public to carry out all taxation and Bantuan Prihatin Nasional (BPN) 2.0 matters online.
