KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 13 -- It was a case of being third time lucky for Malaysian teenage football sensation Luqman Hakim Shamsudin when he scored the only goal in his team KV Kortrijk’s 1-0 win over KFCO Beerschot Wilrijk in the Belgian Under-21 Pro League 2 today.

Luqman Hakim rose to nod home in the 83rd minute for his first goal for the club in only his third league appearance, according to the website https://azscore.com/football/game/kfco-beerschot-wilrijk-kv-kortrijk-2020-08-17 and his tweet on Twitter handle @pemain_ke_12.

It was KV Kortrijk’s fourth win in six matches and the club are now fourth in the standings with 14 points.

Luqman Hakim, 18, left for Belgium in August after signing a five-year contract with KV Kortrijk, who are owned by Malaysian business tycoon Tan Sri Vincent Tan.
