KUALA LUMPUR, May 21 -- Gerik Member of Parliament Datuk Hasbullah Osman has been appointed Syarikat Perumahan Negara Berhad (SPNB) chairman for two years, effective May 12.
SPNB said in a statement that Hasbullah succeeded Datuk Seri Mohammad Mentek, whose services have ended.
Hasbullah had served on the board of directors of Syarikat Pelaburan Tabung Haji Properties Sdn Bhd, Ladang Lekir, a subsidiary of Perak State Agriculture Development Corporation and Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM).
He had also served as the board of director for FGV Downstream, the chairman of ITC Sdn Bhd, ALPHA (PNS) and Pusat Reka Bentuk Pembangunan Malaysia Sdn Bhd.
