SHAH ALAM, May 12 -- The UiTM FC football club today donated 400 sets of personal protective equipment (PPE) to the Sungai Buloh Hospital for the use of frontline personnel in the fight against the COVID-19 outbreak.
UiTM FC manager Mustaza Ahmad presented the donation to Sungai Buloh Hospital’s director Dr Kuldip Kaur at a brief ceremony held at the hospital which was also attended by team captain Muhammad Faizal Mohd Arif.
Mustaza in a statement today, said the donation was a corporate social responsibility initiative of 'The Lion Troops' to help protect the country’s frontline personnel.
“We hope this contribution will help ease the country's frontliners’ task in curbing the COVID-19 outbreak. If all parties continue to work together in their respective roles, we can win this fight against the virus infection,” he said.
