25/03/2020 04:44 PM

SEREMBAN, March 25 -- In efforts to contain the spread of COVID-19, all free bus services in Negeri Sembilan will be temporarily suspended starting March 27 (Friday) until further notice.

In a statement here today, state secretary Datuk Dr Razali Ab Malik said the move was necessary to reduce public movement while the movement control order (MCO) is being enforced.

“The temporary suspension will involve two routes in Seremban, namely the KM Plaza to Tuanku Ja'afar General Hospital and Terminal One to Seremban City Council to UTC Ampangan routes.

“The service will also be suspended in Jempol district and this will affect the Bandar Seri Jempol Bus Terminal to Taman Tunku Puan Chik route,” he said.

In the statement the state government also urged the people to abide by the government’s directives to help break the chain of COVID-19 transmission in the state.
