KUALA LUMPUR, March 3 -- AnCasa Hotel Kuala Lumpur has taken proactive measures by cleaning the whole building and sanitising the premises as part of its efforts to prioritise the safety and health of the in-house guests and the entire staff.
In a statement today, the hotel also expressed its commitment to implement measures in line with the Health Ministry’s guidelines to cope with the spread of COVID-19.
“One of the steps taken is to conduct a temperature checks in the hotel lobby and providing hand sanitisers at strategic locations around the hotel,” the statement said.
The hotel staff also perform regular cleaning using disinfectants in addition to requiring employees to wear face masks covering the nose and mouth while using a hand santiser is top priority.
The statement also said that no cases have been reported involving in-house guests and the hotel staff so far.
Yesterday, a UDA Holdings Berhad (UDA) board member tested positive for COVID-19.
Preventive measures have been strengthened at the UDA premises and the company's subsidiaries, such as AnCasa Hotel in an effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
