Azizulhasni ends World Cup race in sixth place

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 30 -- National track cycling ace, Mohd Azizulhasni Awang finished sixth in the keirin event at the third leg World Cup series in Hong Kong tonight.

The racer dubbed as 'The Pocket Rocketman' who led race in the semi-finals second round, however clocked 10.531 seconds in the final at Hong Kong Velodrome.

In the final, New Zealander Callum Saunders recorded 10.199s followed by Jason Kenny of Great Britain 0.043s behind while Dutch rider, Matthijs Buchli took the third spot in 10.257s.   

Earlier, the Dungun-born cyclist recorded 9,948s to take the lead in the second round and advanced to the semi-finals.
